We Be Geeks Episode 136: We Be Citizens With Roland Mann

Bleeding Cool welcomes back We Be Geeks, hosting a variety of guests and covering a wide range of geek topics.

The gang are back with another episode of We Be Geeks. The gang talk about the upcoming of The Flash, and the shakeup at Marvel Studios. They also talk about the Force Friday event that possibly made 5 BILLION dollars and yet most people did not get what they wanted because stores under ordered. Roland Mann joins the crew to talk about his Kickstarter, Citizens. Citizens is the story of Bedford Tanner, a young man who enters the army on the promise from the government that he would earn his citizenship when the war is over.Unfortunately for Bedford, a new party takes control of the government, stops the war and brings the soldiers home, only to renege on the promise of citizenship. Now a physically deformed veteran, Bedford must come to grips with the reality that "citizens" hate him for being a soldier, and that citizenship may be beyond his grasp.
