Wrapped UYp, Dave Scheidt And Scoot McMahaon's New Horror Comic For Kids, Out In October

Dave Scheidt, writer of Adventure Time, Munchkin, and Trolls comics debuts his own new monthly comic book series Wrapped Up with Aw Yeah Comics! artist Scoot McMahon.

Published by Lion Forge, it will be published on Wednesday October 25th, but will also get a free Hallowe'en Comic Fest issue the following Saturday October 28th.

Milo is just your average twelve-year-old boy. His loving parents are mummies, his best friend is an old wizard, and his babysitters are witches. When Milo isn't busy at school or visiting the comic book store, he loves to hang out with cool teen vampires, play with magical kitties, visit a family of talking dogs, and avoid a love-crazed gorilla at all costs. You know, typical kid stuff.

"Wrapped Up is the comic book I wish I had growing up" says writer Dave Scheidt. "Scoot and Sean and I are really just gigantic kids at heart and love making a book that is our weird little tribute to our favorite comics and cartoons done in a way only we can do. Keep comics weird!"

Back up stories in Wrapped! will be by the likes of Carolyn Nowak (Lumberjanes), Jess Smart Smiley, Coleman Engel (Steven Universe) and the first issue has a variant cover by Art Baltazar.
