Zaucer Of Zilk Now, Milligan & McCarthy Later
Not every San Diego Comic Con story made it big. For example I missed their annoucement of Zaucer Of Zilk (though I did get the unfinished PR headlined "IDW Win Blank Eisner Awards").
It's the only non-Dredd publication from IDW's deal with Rebellion and 2000AD, collecting Al Ewing and Brendon McCarthy's recent 2000AD comic, Zaucer Of Zilk, along with ten pages of extras from the creative team.
But more importantly, it may be a precursor to an even bigger story, the collection of the seminal work by the team of Peter Milligan and Brendan McCarthy from the eighties, and belongs on every serious comic book fan's shelf.
From an as-yet-unnamed publisher, it will include the controversial Skin, as well as Rogan Gosh, Strange Days, Paradax! and so much more, and will be a perfect companion to the likes of McCarthy's Swimini Purpose or Rian Hughes' Tomorrow Stories.
