Call Of Duty: WWII is Holding a St. Patrick's Day Event
It appears that Sledgehammer Games are preparing for the next community event in Call Of Duty: WWII, though this one may be a bit shorter than the recent Resistance event that came to an end last month. Earlier today the company posted the tweet we have for you below, indicating that it appears they have something special in mind for St. Patrick's Day, which is coming up this Saturday. That's Captain Butcher in all of his glory sitting in the middle of Headquarters Mode, as shamrocks float down around him.
Since Butcher only visits during events, it's pretty easy to predict that we'll be getting details in the next day or two about a special one-day event tied to the Irish holiday. What it may be is anyone's guess, but the smart bet is that it may end up being a new fun game mode like how Prop Hunt was a temporary edition that just recently became permanent due to popularity. If we're borrowing ideas from other games, since Halo isn't doing much with Griffball, we wouldn't mind seeing an Irish version of that pop into the COD universe.
