Devolver Digital Offer To Showcase Games From Those Affected By Trump's 'Travel Ban' At GDC This Month
Devolver Digital have always been a 'cool' company. The publisher has often acted as a loveable rogue in the industry, releasing grungy, stylish games like Hotline Miami, Shadow Warrior, Serious Sam, Mother Russia Bleeds alongside more loud and brash titles.
Well, the company has taken a stand against Donald Trump's"recent ban on travel". In a post on their website, the publisher said that if anyone was planning to show off their game at the Games Developer Conference later this month and are affected by the ban, and reportedly there are, they are offering to showcase the title at their booth.
Regardless of where you fall on this issue, it's a great move by the company. It's very sad developers from places in the world whose games don't get lots of exposure won't be able to go to the melting pot that is GDC. It's heartwarming to know their games will be though.
