Indie game developer lonch.me and publisher Alawar have launched a new Open Playtest for their upcoming game, Exiler. The team is aiming to release the game sometime in 2025, but before that, they're giving you a chance to try the game out as they work on perfecting this new title in which you work on casting demons back to the underworld. Assume the identity of Adam Wayne, an exorcist and private detective tasked with performing occult rituals and casting demons out of possessed people. You are the Exiler. Experiment with different combinations of exorcist tools during rituals to rid the world of evil spirits once and for all. Experience the weight of your choices as you race to save as many souls as possible on your path to salvation. Witness the supernatural narrative ahead with action-packed comic illustrations as you navigate through 39 gloomy yet intriguing levels across 3 locations as you solve puzzles through side-scrolling and point-and-click gameplay. Complete side quests to uncover new narrative moments along your journey of self discovery. Shine a light on the mysteries within the darkness to discover the fate of Adam and the lost souls.
