From the Rumor Mill: Nintendo Planning a Game Awards Announcement
If you'd like to believe the latest rumor mill story this weekend, Nintendo are probably going to make a big announcement at The Game Awards. Over the past 24 hours, people have been making a big deal out of one specific tweet made by Shesez from Boundary Break, in which he focuses on a specific clip from back at E3 featuring Nintendo of America's Reggie Fils-Aime and The Game Awards host Geoff Keighley, suggesting that this little hint that the two would work together on an announcement during the ceremony is pretty much going to happen.
With all the hype surrounding the awards and the fact that Nintendo is up for a few of them, we'd honestly be surprised if Nintendo didn't bring something to show. The fandom online is currently crying for a Metroid game, but in all honesty, unless Nintendo are pulling a major rabbit out of the hat, the safe bet would be something revolving around either new Smash Bros. content being announced, or a new trailer for Yoshi's Crafted World. Honestly, we won't know until December 6th, but we'd say the company would at least do one trailer or announcement during the show.
