'Overwatch' Is Officially Blizzard's Fastest Growing Franchise

It shouldn't come as a shock after the 30 million players annoucnement, but Activision Blizzard's First-Quarter earnings call, the company revealed that Overwatch has become the fastest growing franchise at Blizzard, and helped the company accumulate over one billion dollars in revenue since launch.

You can check out the full results of the data here, but essentially the game has become the eighth game in the Blizzard/Activision portfolio to break the billion-dollar mark in the company's history. The company also praised the game being featured in comics and becoming a major name in eSports since launch, and look to launch their own official league this year. SO basically, if you're an Overwatch player, Blizzard could not be happier to have your business right now.
