Destiny: The Taken King Gets A Live Action Trailer Directed By Tron: Legacy Director
The Taken King is so very close now. We've seen the marketing really ramp up over the last month as we head into Season 2, even catching a glimpse at how that is going in Japan.
This new trailer is most certainly the highest production value one yet. If anyone remembers the somewhat ludicrous live action trailer for the launch of Destiny last year, it should look familiar. The same three person Fireteam is out exploring Oryx's digs and it all falls on the Titan to do quippy lines and painful one liners. Oh and hey, It's directed by Tron: Legacy and Oblivion helmer Joseph Kosinski.
I still find this an incredibly strange tone considering the poe-faced nature of the source material, but whatever, it's a little bit of fun.
