Transistor Has Surpassed 1 Million Copies Sold
I really did have a great time with Transistor last year. SuperGiant Games' sophomore effort was a great little concept, mixing real time and turned based action, that was executed pretty darn well.
That's why I'm happy to see that the game has sold over a million copies now. The news was announced in a blog post by the game's developer. That said:
With Transistor having sold more than a million copies now, and Bastion having sold more than three million, we feel incredibly fortunate to be able to stick together as a team and with any luck keep making the kinds of games that resonate with you for a long time to come.
For a team not all that large, these numbers are massive. It's great to see. You'd have to imagine game 3 is on the way, and in fact, I'd expect to hear from it pretty soon. Perhaps no later than E3, but lets lets not rush 'em eh?
