What's Going On With The 'Battlefield 1' Spring Update

The "Spring Update" for Battlefield 1 is finally running and DICE released a full set of details of all the changes and additions that came to consoles and PC yesterday. Don't worry, a lot of what's in here is quite excellent, especially for multiplayer modes.

First on the docket is Platoons, which is essentially a larger group of players that includes a proper name, emblem and various options you can edit for the group. You can have up to 100 players in your platoon and you can be in ten different platoons at once, so now the race is on to see who creates the team name Flying Hellfish. Medics now have a revival indicator, so both you and the patient have an idea of when they'll be coming back to life from getting a booster shot in the arm after being shot. Also added in is a "Server Admin" feature that gives players extra permissions and features such as four new weapon variants, 19 new ribbons and a lot more. We're rather anxious to hear what some of you think of the new additions. Are they a benefit or just another random addition to you?
