Ziggurat Interactive Has Released A Remake Of Ballance

Two decades later, Ziggurat Interactive has created a remake of the puzzle physics game Ballance, now available for PC platforms.

Ziggurat Interactive, along with indie game developer Cyparade, has released a remake of the physics puzzler Ballance for PC on both Steam and GOG. The game was originally released back in 2004 by Atari, back when the company was still doing games on disc, and was one of the first 3D momentum-based PC titles to be released. The game is simplistic but challenging as you'll take your marble and guide it along an obstacle course in mid-air, solving a bunch of puzzles as you go that involve moving obstacles, speed and precision, and utilizing the ability to change what kind of material your ball is made of. This modern-day remake has cleaned up the audio and visuals, as well as many of the controls (as there were times they were unresponsive and would send you flying to your death), so you can tackle these challenges all over again. Use different strategic advantages to overcome these puzzles while avoiding dangers that can knock your marbles into certain doom — all of which must be accomplished before the time runs out! This wildly addictive puzzle platformer allows you to change your marble between three different materials with different properties to overcome the obstacles that lie ahead. Navigate your way through different platforms and ramps without falling off. Starting off may seem like an easy task, but each level gets increasingly difficult. Will you be able to secure a high score?
