Clickbait: For Final Transformers Film, Will Michael Bay Star As Optimus Prime Himself?
For the past seven years, superstar director Michael Bay has been on a one-man mission to murder the childhoods of Transformers fans through his popular movie franchise, consisting of four films and an upcoming fifth: Transformers: The Last Knight. Bay has traditionally used his visionary and directing skills to perpetrate this heinous assault against the fond memories we all share of playing with the transforming robots as children, but a new Instagram photo could reveal that Bay is taking things to the next level, having realized that, if you want something done (like the complete systematic destruction of everything people love about a popular toy and cartoon franchise), you have to do it yourself.
With that in mind, perhaps, Bay posted a photo of himself to Instagram in Optimus Prime cosplay:
Is this confirmation that Bay will play Optimus in The Last Knight, hammering the final nail in the franchise's coffin with his own hands?
Probably not. That's actually a toy from Hasbro released in support of the upcoming film. Retailing for $80, the mask not only looks great, but it apparently changes your voice to sound like Optimus Prime as well. You can buy one here.
