DCTV Shows Us Where The Arrowverse Heroes Come From

The CW / DCTV has released a new two minute plus video featuring the characters of the Arrowverse (Supergirl, The Flash, Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow) and the upcoming series Black Lightning. The video ties the live-action characters to their comic book counterparts and includes voices overs and clips from previous episodes… but it goes on and focuses on Black Lightning for a time which is interesting as for now the show is not supposed to be directly connected to the other series. Maybe this is a sign that they plan is to connect them in a similar way as Supergirl is connected, a different Earth. That makes the most sense since Jefferson Pierce is supposed to be retired from crime fighting for a while now before being pulled back in.

Regardless of that, it's cool to see the comic art being featured so prominently and showing fans of the live-action series just where the heroes come from.

Supergirl returns October 9th. Flash and Legends of Tomorrow return October 10th. Arrow returns October 12th. Black Lightning will make it's debut mid-season.
