Deathstroke Is Returning To Arrow For The Finale

Arrow producers have been teasing that Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) would be teaming up with some shocking allies to take down Prometheus (Josh Segarra). A lot of people, including myself, wondered if that mean the return of Slade Wilson (Manu Bennett). Wilson was a major part of the flashback scenes on the first few season of Arrow as well as him becoming Deathstroke, the big bad for season 2. His return would make a lot of people happy that thought it wasn't possible. Bennett was openly displeased with the way his character had been written in a guest spot in the third season. It seemed that there was split between him and the series that might not be patched.

But today, Amell posted the following on his Twitter account.

 

Executive producer Marc Guggenheim confirmed Bennett's return and it seems like we have more news to come. And he meant the fifth season finale.
