Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald Spoiler Free Video Review + Cast Introduction From London Screening

I've just got back from seeing Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald at a London screening introduced by Eddie Redmayne, Zoë Kravitz, Katherine Waterston, Ezra Miller and Callum Turner.

I recorded a first thoughts spoiler-free review below and shoved on a video of the cast shot from the back of the IMAX as well. You can fast forward to that if you want to avoid me wittering on. Just be prepared to squint… it was a long way back.


Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald is directed by David Yates, with a screenplay by J. K. Rowling. A joint British and American production, it is the sequel to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them from 2016. I

The film features an ensemble cast that includes Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, Zoë Kravitz, Callum Turner, Claudia Kim, William Nadylam, Kevin Guthrie, Jude Law, and Johnny Depp.

The plot follows Newt Scamander and Albus Dumbledore as they attempt to take down the dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald, while facing new threats in a more divided wizarding world.

Principal photography for the film began at Warner Bros. Studios, Leavesden London in July 2017. Filming also took place in England, including London, Switzerland, and Paris.

It is released worldwide on the 16th November.
