Hey BBC: Have You Asked Spider-Man Homecoming Star Tom Holland If He'd Like To Replace Peter Capaldi On Doctor Who?
When Peter Capaldi leaves Doctor Who at the end of the current season, a new actor will replace him in the role. The current favorite is Kris Marshall, as Bleeding Cool reported back in April. But if that doesn't work out, perhaps they should consider looking elsewhere.
With Spider-Man: Homecoming due out in July, star Tom Holland is making the rounds promoting the film, and in a big interview with CNET, Holland revealed what superpower he wishes he had.
"Probably the ability to either fly or jump through [time]," Holland answered, which is exactly what a Time Lord would say. "But controlling time is a big responsibility. You can mess up everything, and I would definitely be the person to do that. I wouldn't be responsible with it at all."
Sounds like he'd be perfect for the job! Check out CNET's interview for more, including the details on Holland's ironic case of arachnophobia ("I hate them, they're terrifying") and how Spider-Man doesn't deliberately hit people in the movie. Spider-Man: Homecoming hits theaters on July 7.
