Jason Bateman To Direct Nicole Kidman In The Family Fang
Jaselle Martino writes for Bleeding Cool.
Fresh of the heels of his directorial debut, Bad Words, debuting at the Toronto Festival, Jason Bateman is set to direct his second project, The Family Fang.
According to Deadline, Bateman has cast himself and Nicole Kidman in this tale of a couple of performance artists who sometimes use their kids in their bizarre acts. The kids eventually resent their parents' performance art for how badly their lives turn out. They're the ones that Bateman and Kidman will play.
As long as this isn't a feature length adaptation of the joke "The Aristocrats" we should be okay.
The script has been written by Pulitzer Prize winner David Lindsey-Abaire from the novel by Kevin Wilson, and production is set for 2014.
