Jessica Jones Season 2 Will Be Directed Entirely By Female Directors

Jessica Jones Season 2 is set to come after the upcoming Defenders series, and hasn't quite started shooting yet.

However, one interesting fact that has come out of the production is that everyone of the series' 13 episodes will be directed by women. This comes from Variety who heard the news at a Transforming Hollywood 7: Diversifying Entertainment conference where the showrunner Melissa Rosenberg announced it.

There is no word on who the directors will be, how many each one will direct and the breakdown of the duties, but this is a great little bit of news I reckon.
