John Diggle Makes A New Friend When Arrow Returns

diggleWe know the big plot lines for the rest of the season involve Prometheus and Black Canary. But we can't forget that John Diggle (David Ramsey) is having some issues of his own he has to deal with. The teaser we got for Arrow's return had Dig and Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) talking at the prison. Unlike in the earlier part of the season, Dig is ready to fight but will need a good lawyer and Oliver knows a guy. At the time I speculated that it would be an interesting way to bring Adrian Chase (Josh Segarra) in closer to the team. Turns out, that's what will be happening as executive producer Wendy Mericle told TVLine:

Diggle emerges from jail with a much bigger drive, and not the same fatalism that he had earlier in the season. He's going to come up against Colonel Walker and grow closer to Adrian Chase.

Dig is making a lot of new friends, first Wild Dog and now Vigilante. He could almost put his own team together.
