Where Does Mick Rory Sleep? A Deleted Scene From DC's Legends Of Tomorrow
Here's a question I never thought to ask: Where does Legends of Tomorrow's Mick Rory (Dominic Purcell) sleep? We've seen his quarters on the Waverider, but there wasn't a bed in them. Turns out, the writers had addressed that in a scene in Season 2.
The episode, Outlaw Country, which featured the return of Jonah Hex (Jonathon Schaech), had a scene where Amaya (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) went to go let Mick know there was a mission. As she looks around the room, see the lack of a bed, and then asks the question. I'll let you watch the clip to see his answer — it seems fitting. He also declines to go on the mission, then changes his mind, realizing that the old west would be a bit of a vacation for him.
The scene was cut from the pre-crossover episode, but it's being included among the extras featured on the DC's Legends of Tomorrow: The Complete Second Season Blu-ray and DVD sets coming out on August 15th.
The relationship between Mick and Amaya will continue in the new season, from what executive producer Marc Guggenheim told TVLine during our Fall Preview Q&A:
"One of the things from last year that worked very well and we're carrying forward is we've always really enjoyed the relationship between Amaya and Rory — the woman with animal powers who sort of controls the beast."
DC's Legends of Tomorrow returns for Season 3 on October 10th at 9 p.m. ET on the CW.
