Neil Gaiman, Steven Spielberg And Oprah Winfrey Team For Fairy Tale

hansel_and_gretel_67061According to Variety, Neil Gaiman's upcoming graphic novel Hansel And Gretel with illustrator Lorenzo Mattotti is being option even before its release this October 28th by the trio of Steven Spielberg, Oprah Winfrey and Juliet Blake. This is the same trio that produced the recent film The Hundred Foot Journey. Hansel And Gretel will be a live-action film and finding a screenwriter will be the next order of business.

Also in production from Gaiman are his sci-fi rom-com short story being turned into a film, How To Talk To Girls At Parties with Elle Fanning attached to star as well as Joseph Gordon Levitt lead adaptation of Sandman.
