Empire has some new images of Edgar Wright's Baby Driver and they talked to him about the upcoming movie. He starts off by telling us that this is nothing like his previous movies with Simon Pegg and Nick Frost.
"I wanted to make a film that wasn't in inverted commas. [Baby Driver is] visceral, darker, more cynical. People are surprised by it, in a good way. The stuff in it is universal: car chases and shoot-outs and music and beautiful girls. But the combination of things here feels new. Most action movies at the moment are solidly PG-13. I wanted something spikier," Wright continues.
The cast includes a lot of terrible people under Doc's (Kevin Spacey) employment including Bats played by Jamie Foxx
"I'm there to be the person you really don't like," Foxx tells Empire. You're going to want this motherfucker to burn".
Baby Driver will be released on June 28, 2017.
