Ron Howard Assures Worried Fans He'll Give Brother Clint A Job On Star Wars: Han Solo
Star Wars fans worried that the upcoming Han Solo movie won't have enough nepotism can rest easy: Ron Howard will put his brother, Clint Howard, in the film.
Ron Howard responded to a question on Twitter confirming that his family member will be given a job of some sort on the production:
Unabashed nepotism is common in Hollywood, with director James Gunn frequently casting his brother Sean Gunn in movies. Joss Whedon made his brother and his brother's wife the show runners of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and Donald Trump even cast his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, in a major role in both his presidential administration and the Russia collusion scandal.
Star Wars: Han Solo stars Alden Ehrenreich, Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke, Donald Glover, Thandie Newton, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and Joonas Suotamo, and is scheduled for a May 2018 release date.
