Ron Howard Teases Costumes From The 'Untitled Han Solo Star Wars Anthology Film'
The Untitled Han Solo Star Wars Anthology Film has been in flux the last few weeks as they've switched directors at the last minute. The new director, Ron Howard, has been teasing fans on twitter about his work on the Star Wars Anthology movie. A few days ago he tweeted a picture from the editing room with an awesome mug.
The post he made on the 11th is the interesting one. Howard posted a picture of what look like a bunch of jackets from the movie and they are bright.
There is probably a good chance that these jackets don't belong to Alden Ehrenreich's Han Solo since his costumes featured much more neutral colors. It does tell us something about the movie though. Rogue One featured a lot of Earth tones and dark colors because, at its core, it was a darker movie with a war tone to it. This Han Solo movie is already looking to be a lot brighter and similar to the looks we've seen in other prequel era films. This is not, in any way, a bad thing. For all of their faults the prequels had a very specific look to them. It would make sense that a movie taking place in or around that era would look visually similar.
Han Solo and Chewbacca's adventures before joining the Rebellion, including their early encounters with Lando Calrissian.
Untitled Han Solo Star Wars Anthology Film, directed by Ron Howard, stars Alden Ehrenreich, Emilia Clarke, Donald Glover, Woody Harrelson, and Thandie Newton. It will be released May 25, 2018.
