'Shazam!': Zachary Levi Responds to Fan's Heartfelt Message on Bullied Son

DC's Shazam! is not only a fun and exciting experience to audiences, but the film's themes also touch the hearts of all involved – young and old. Need an example of this? Look not further than star, Zachary Levi, who responded to a fan on Twitter after discussing her son's ongoing struggles with bullying and the film's profound impact.

Christina Giannelli took her son to see the film and shared his experience and joy on social media, thanking Levi, who plays Billy Batson/Shazam!, for opening up about his own struggles and being such an inspiration.

"My son just got back from seeing #shazam. Seeing him so happy makes me want to cry. It's been a rough year for him. He's homeschooling after being bullied. He's in therapy now and being able to tell him this superhero @ZacharyLevi has also been and struggled is huge. Thank you."

Levi's response has gone viral.

"My heart is bursting with love right now for your little man. I was bullied a lot when I was a kid, & wish homeschool was an option for me at many points along the way. Tell him I'm standing with him, and to remember that bullies are just hurt and confused in their own life. 🙏

If anyone ever doubted the impact film can have on our lives, show them this. If you weren't at least tempted to shed a tear, you might just not have a soul.
