Tomb Raider Starring Alicia Vikander Gets Release Date

AliciaVikanderAlicia Vikander (Ex Machina) is taking on the role of video game icon Laura Croft in a new Tomb Raider film by Warner Bros and MGM. Tomb Raider was created by Eidos in 1996 that grew into a multi-game franchise and two feature films starring Angelina Jolie. In 2013, the game franchise was rebooted by Crystal Dynamics, which will serve as the basis for the new film.

The film will be in theaters March 16th, 2018.
