Cramming Batman And The DC Animation Panel
Will Romine writes for Bleeding Cool. If anyone has seen his iPad, please let him know.
I have never seen a better, more faithful adaptation of a graphic novel. Ever! I'm still shaking.
Now that I'm up to date, I'll take a break from writing this article to let Bruce Timm and co. tantalize me with the second half of their magnum opus.
2 hours later…
Holy Double Shit Balls Batman!
I've just seen footage from part 2 and definitely does justice to the graphic novel. Michael Emerson's joker is unlike any rendition prior, a conscious casting decision made by Andrea Romano. In addition, Conan O'Brien makes a cameo as the talkshow host killed by the Joker. In addition to the footage, some other news was dropped.
- A Lego Batman movie is set to drop in 2013
- Speaking of 2013, we can expect a Superman Ungrounded, based on Geoff Johns's Braniac storyline. And Justice League: Flashpoint, which begs the question: Will the Timmverse cease to exist after this movie?
I, for one, am excited. Can't wait for another slate of DC Animated goodness.
