Alan Moore Reads A Chapter Of Jerusalem For Thirty-Five Minutes (VIDEO)

At Northampton Central Library, Alan Moore read to an audience one chapter of his upcoming novel Jerusalem. The twenty-fourth chapter, as told by the statue of the statue of the archangel Michael on the Northampton Guild Hall.

It rather reminds me of the Voice Of The Fire episode, from the point of view of a head on a spike. Which also happened to be my favourite chapter. I think I'd have enjoyed it even more if Alan had read it.

So kick back, make a mug of cocoa and enjoy…  courtesy of the Northampton Chronicle And Echo.

The paper reports the much anticipated novel, set across history, but always in the Spring Boroughs of Northampton. Now estimate at 650,000 words long, Moore describes it as "different from anything I ever written. I think it is different from anything that has ever been written."
