Marvel Confirms Uncanny Avengers #1 As Selling Over 300,000

At the Retailer Breakfast at NYCC, Marvel confirmed that they have over 300,000 sales confirmed for Uncanny Avengers #1, which they described as the best selling "superhero" first print of a title this year.

I'm sure Robert Kirkman will chuckle at the "superhero bit". And Bob Wayne will chuckle at the "this year" bit.

They also mentioned that with the Marvel digital downloads inserted in print comics, in which they give 50 cents to each retailer whose customers register they bought it from their store, has paid out $200,000 so far this year, and are committed to extending it for a further six months through the Marvel NOW! relaunch…
