Lansdale, who wrote the novella upon which the movie was based, is returning to co-write a prequel comic, Bubba Ho-Tep and the Cosmic Bloodsuckers, along with Joshua Jabcuga and artist Todd Galusha. Baldemar Rivas provides the cover for the first issue.
