Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 7 Preview: Deke Reaches Out to Mack
In our previous previews for Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., there's been a heavy emphasis on how Mack (Henry Simmons) and Deke (Jeff Ward) have found themselves trapped in 1982 when this week's "The Totally Excellent Adventures of Mack and The D" kicks off. And while the episode looks to be oozing with 80s awesomeness with that perfect amount of extra cheese ("The Deke Squad"?), the newest preview reminds us of Mack's loss and the reason they ended up stranded in the first place. In the following clip, Deke reaches out to Mack to let him know he's not alone but this is clearly something Mack needs to process on his own. Which would normally make sense, but then we can definitely respect Deke's perspective. Time lost? Yup. Possible Chronicom infiltration? Highly likely. Killer robots? Most definitely:
Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 7, episode 7 "The Totally Excellent Adventures of Mack and The D": After being unexpectedly stranded in 1982, Mack retreats to his childhood home to process the death of his parents, while Deke gets to work scouting a chart-topping group of new agents. With no idea if or when the team is coming back for them, time seems to finally be on their side … at least until the killer robots show up. Written by Brent Fletcher and directed by Jesse Bochco.
