Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 6: 2 New Promos Parody Die Hard
The next season of Brooklyn Nine-Nine will be sooner rather than later. Over the summer the show was unceremoniously canceled by Fox after five very solid seasons. For something like thirty hours, the internet went a little crazy talking about how it was one of their favorite shows on TV. Within those thirty hours, NBC swept in and renewed the show for a sixth season with a bit shorter episode order. The show is finally set to return next month and NBC has dropped two short promos for the show. They are a parody of Die Hard which is the movie Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg) is obsessed with. While the promos are largely the same they do end in different ways.

Next, because NBC is promoting the show more than Fox ever did, a behind-the-scenes featurette tests the cast on who knows the New York City police codes. Turns out there is one cast member who does and it probably isn't who you think.

If there is any justice in this world maybe this season will finally net Andre Braugher the Emmy win he hasn't received yet.
Summary: Jake Peralta, an immature, but talented N.Y.P.D. detective in Brooklyn's 99th Precinct, comes into immediate conflict with his new commanding officer, the serious and stern Captain Ray Holt.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine stars Andy Samberg, Andre Braugher, Stephanie Beatriz, Terry Crews, Melissa Fumero, Joe Lo Truglio, Chelsea Peretti, Dirk Blocker, and Joel McKinnon Miller. The show returns on January 10th at 10/9c on NBC.
