Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 6: First Look Promo Teases the New Season
After a very stressful 2018 that included a cancelation and moving to a new network, it's time to look ahead to 2019 for Brooklyn Nine-Nine fans. The comedy, which used to air on Fox and now airs on NBC, is set to return next month with a new season. We've only seen a few bits of promo for the new season but NBC released a first look at the season at last. We see some interviews with the cast members, some footage from previous seasons, and some new footage including what looks like Jake and Amy's honeymoon.

Star Andy Samberg says that the show very much feels like it follows in the footsteps of previous NBC comedies like The Office, 30 Rock, and Parks and Recreation so it should fit in nicely at the new network. NBC is also promoting the show more in the last several months than Fox did over the course of five seasons. Maybe this show will finally get the awards recognition it deserves.
Summary: Jake Peralta, an immature, but talented N.Y.P.D. detective in Brooklyn's 99th Precinct, comes into immediate conflict with his new commanding officer, the serious and stern Captain Ray Holt.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine stars Andy Samberg, Andre Braugher, Stephanie Beatriz, Terry Crews, Melissa Fumero, Joe Lo Truglio, Chelsea Peretti, Dirk Blocker, and Joel McKinnon Miller. The show returns on January 10th at 10/9c on NBC.
