Gotham Season 4: New 'White Band' Trailer Introduces the Legion of Horribles
Fox has released what they're calling the Jerome 'White Band' Trailer 2018, for Gotham season 4. Jerome Valeska (Cameron Monaghan) is a very interesting character in that he was supposed to be in just one episode. He was part of a plan to introduce a bunch of Joker red herrings over the run of the series, maybe never even getting to the real Joker. And while they still insist that he is not the Joker, it's getting harder and harder to tell the difference. He's got the smile, he's got the insanity, and he even had his face cut off and sewn back on, as happened to the Crown Prince of Crime a few years back in the comics. So he may not be the Joker, but Monaghan is doing an amazing Joker-like performance.
The trailer below gives us an idea of what Jerome's plan is and why he's team with Scarecrow (David W. Thompson) and Mad Hatter (Benedict Samuel). But in what is being called a mandatory brunch meeting, we get to meet Jerome's Legion of Horribles, which includes Firefly (Michelle Vientimilla), Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor), and Mr. Freeze (Nathan Darrow)… plus who knows which other of the villains in the city, like Riddler (Corey Michael Smith) and Grundy (Drew Powell). It almost seems like an insult if you're not invited to the club.
And in all of it, there is the mystery of who Jerome is looking for and how it might tie to Thomas Wayne.
Gotham airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on Fox.
