Graham McTavish Surprises Fans At The 'Outlander' Comic-Con Panel
Janel Smith writes:
This was such a great experience for Outlander fans. Not only was it moderated by superfan Jenna Dewan Tatum (it was fun to watch her fangirl out and try to pry spoilers from the cast), but the cast was lovely and seemed genuinely happy to be there. There was a surprise appearance made by Graham McTavish, who ended up sharing a seat on the dais with Sam Heughan. (McTavish is now playing the Saint of Killers on AMC's Preacher.)
Tatum convinced the panel to play a game of Truth or Dance, where she got majority of the cast members present to dance — either with her or on their own — by asking them difficult and slightly embarrassing questions.
I did think the panel was quite short, until Ron Moore announced that they would be screening the first episode of the new season.
Without giving too much away, we pick up right where we left off with the Battle of Culloden and its immediate aftermath. The entire episode was incredibly emotional, between Highlanders being put to death and Claire and Frank dealing with the aftermath of her return.
Aside from the panel, there is a really cool fan experience in the exhibition hall where you can visit the Print Shop and pick up some swag. Fans of the show and/or books have a lot to get them ready for the season 3 premiere.
