Jessica Jones Cast and Crew Address the Recent Cancellation and Tease the Final Season
The cast of Jessica Jones took to social media today to thank the fans and the opportunity to work on the show. The cast shared some pictures of each other and talked about what an honor it was to work on the show. Star Krysten Ritter says she is "proud of how we complete JJ's journey" and that she "can't wait for you all to see" the final season set to air sometime this year.
Showrunner Melissa Rosenberg took to Twitter to talk about the cancellation and even teased that we might be seeing David Tennant return as Kilgrave for this final season.
We got to see a little bit of Kilgrave last season and he was used in a really interesting way. He is still the source of a lot of Jessica's issues and the series can't really come to close unless we see her really confront and move past him.
Following the tragic end of her brief superhero career, Jessica Jones tries to rebuild her life as a private investigator, dealing with cases involving people with remarkable abilities in New York City.
Jessica Jones, created by Melissa Rosenberg, stars Krysten Ritter, Rachael Taylor, Eka Darville, J.R. Ramirez, Carrie-Anne Moss, and David Tennant. The final season will air sometime this year.
