Legends of Tomorrow Season 3: A War is Coming
The CW has released a new teaser trailer and some photos for the return of DC's Legends of Tomorrow. The series returns on February 12th, taking over the Supergirl time slot for nine straight weeks to finish out their season.
The series returns with a guest appearance by Matt Ryan as John Constantine. Ryan has become the quintessential Constantine, playing the dabbler into the dark arts on the short-lived NBC series, in the animated Justice League Dark film and appearing on an episode of Arrow where he helped save Sara Lance (Caity Lotz)… or at least her soul.
The ending of the mid-season finale had Sara returning to the Waverider after walking Jefferson Jackson (Franz Drameh) out, only to discover Constantine waiting for her inside saying he needs her help with an exorcism. And since the title of the episode coming up is Daddy Darhkest, it should be a very interesting exorcism. There has also been talk of the series exploring the more fluid nature of Constantine's sexuality with the other current guest on the ship, Citizen Cold (Wentworth Miller).
DC's Legends of Tomorrow returns Monday, February 12th at 8 p.m. on the CW.
