In a reveal that should shock no one, turns out one of the design minds behind CBS All Access's Star Trek: Discovery Klingons really went all out with the costumes.

Neville Page, who fans of SYFY's Face Off will no doubt recognize, shared an image of the underside/bottom of one of the boots worn by Klingons in the show, and they are just as fancy and stylized as the visible portions of the costume and makeup.

Page posted the image on his Instagram account saying:

Who says Klingons have no sole?🤪 In the world of film and tv, rarely do you design the sole of a shoe…for obvious reasons. But, since this was an EV suit, the Torchbearer, I felt that there may be an opportunity to see it. Honestly, if we were to never see it on camera, I still felt obliged to design it.

Star Trek: Discovery is currently in production for season 2 of the series, which is set to hit CBS All Access sometime in January 2019, and season 1 is currently available on the service as well.
