New Twin Peaks Trailer Has Big Ed Hurley, Deputy Andy, And Agent Dale Cooper

The return to Twin Peaks is almost here, and Showtime is stepping up their trailer drop game. The cable network has released over 20 videos and trailers of various lengths (heh) in an effort to rekindle the flame of David Lynch's cult classic tv series.

Today's video:

Featured in this "familiar faces 25 years later" video are Big Ed Hurley (Everett McGill), Carl Rodd (Harry Dean Stanton), Sarah Palmer (Grace Zabriskie), Deputy Andy Brennan (Harry Goaz), Deputy Tommy "Hawk" Hill (Michael Horse), and FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper (Kyle MacLachlan).

Lynch's little series that could first aired in 1990 on ABC, and quickly became part of the general television consumer culture.  The series often tops "best shows ever" lists across the board, both for it's science fiction bent and it's absurdist surreal themes that continue to influence film and tv makers to this day.

Twin Peaks (2017) will be an 18-hour limited event series.  While American fans won't get to see the 2 hour premiere until Sunday May 21st for SHOWTIME subscribers, attendees at Cannes Film Festival in France will be treated to the first official debut of the revisit.
