Rick and Morty Spins Serious Snake Jazz, The Soundtrack of Our Lives
Never let it be said that Rick and Morty creators Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland aren't willing to give the people what they want (even if it can take a little longer than expected). Clearly realizing that the world's obsession with Snake Jazz was growing to nearly obscene levels, they sought to assuage the masses by introducing them to "Rattlestar Ricklactica" composer Ryan Elder. In the Behind the Music-like expose (not really), Elder took us behind the scenes of the musical movement to educate us on how the miracle of sound came to be. But as much as Harmon and Roiland hoped that would bring temperature levels down, it actually accomplished the opposite: the demand for Snake Jazz was at near-cult-like levels. So Adult Swim has stepped in, offering one hour of continuous Snake Jazz to help soothe the savage beasts in all of us. We hope you enjoy the flow below and check out Bleeding Cool's music review tomorrow:
As a way to celebrate this year's April Fool's Day in a prank-free, annoying-free way, Adult Swim treated viewers to a trailer for the midseason return. Since then, we've had a number of questions rambling around in our brains. With Snowball returning, will Rick and Morty need to help him fend off a feline invasion? Is there some off-shoot of the Galactic Federation still active (think recent Star Wars trilogy for reference), and backing the cats in their canine conflict?
That laser sword fight (copyright issues with "The Mouse," folks) between Beth and Tammy seems to lean that way, but you can never trust how trailer edits can mess with our heads. With Tammy making her presence known, does that mean a Phoenixperson sighting isn't too far behind? Will any of this put our pair another step closer to Evil Morty? Following the trailer, we have a look at the episodes titles for the remainder of the season (with points and much appreciation for the Terminator homage in the announcement video):
- Season 4, Episode 6 "Never Ricking Morty"
- Season 4, Episode 7 "Promortyus": Get off my face, broh
- Season 4, Episode 8 "The Vat of Acid Episode": The one with the acid vat, broth.
- Season 4, Episode 9 "Childrick of Mort": Miracle of life, broh. Whole family in this one, broh.
- Season 4, Episode 10 "Star Mort Rickturn of the Jerri": Parenting is crazy, broh. Stuff straight disappearin in this one.
