"Therapy Dog" Adds Lisa Kudrow to Animated Voice Cast
Lisa Kudrow is having a pretty busy time of things right now. In addition to shooting the pilot for Good People at Amazon right now, she will also be voicing the title character in the upcoming Therapy Dog from Fox, according to Deadline.

Kudrow will be lending her voice to Honey, a poodle mix who takes on group therapy sessions with the animals that live in her neighborhood. The other animals will be trying to work through conflicts with other animals, as well as relationship dynamics they have with their owners.
Honey has studied Carl Jung, so she's a natural, but she's not living a perfect life, either. She has a stagnant relationship with her husband, a St. Bernard named Chief. Then there's that wild coyote that's been lurking around…
Therapy Dog will be written and produced by Clea Duvall, with writer-producers Jennifer Crittenden and Gabrielle Allan. Sharon Horgan leads the project, and will be a writer and producer on the show as well.
Kudrow has had plenty of experience in voice-over work for animation. She worked on BoJack Horseman on Netflix, and had the lead in Fox's animated Lyle & Carolyne in 2018. She also played a therapist on Showtime's Web Therapy, so this all feels kind of right.
Clea Duvall and Sharon Horgan will also provide voices for Therapy Dog, which had previously cast Saturday Night Live alumna Vanessa Bayer to voice the lead character.
Along with Therapy Dog, Kudrow has been working on the pilot for Good People for Amazon, which is being brought to screen by Whitney Cummings and Lee Daniels.
On Good People, Kudrow will be playing Lynn Steele, the Ombudsman at a liberal arts college that has to navigate the tricky political waters of the me too movement, the old guard of the education system, and her own views on modern life as a woman.
There is still no word on when Therapy Dog will be released, but we'll share that information with you as soon as we get it!
