WWE Announces "International" Superstar Shakeup for April
WWE has revealed the dates for its next Superstar Shakeup, in which the rosters for WWE TV shows like Monday Night Raw and Smackdown Live are rearranged to make room for fresh feuds. The roster changes also likely include call-ups from NXT and, if the new "International" moniker is any indication, could also include shifting of superstars from brands like NXT UK as well.
An advertisement aired during the Canadian broadcast of Raw last night, and POST Wrestling's John Pollock posted a video of the video on Twitter.
The International Superstar Shakeup will take place on Monday Night Raw on April 15th and on Smackdown Live on April 16th at the Bell Centre in Montreal. Which Superstars will switch brands? Who will get called up?
Whatever happens, the changes will set the stage for what the WWE landscape could look like when Smackdown moves to the Fox broadcast network in October, though WWE could still make some adjustments before then. Fox reportedly wants Smackdown's roster to be exclusive and also for the show to present itself as more sports, less entertainment.
