WWE Reveals Two Groups for NXT Cruiserweight Champion Tournament
WWE has revealed the first two sets of competitors for the tournament that will decide the Interim NXT Cruiserweight Champion. Reigning NXT Cruiserweight Champion Jordan Devlin is stuck in the U.K. and unable to defend his title due to restrictions on international travel because of the coronavirus pandemic. As a result, NXT General Manager William Regal announced a tournament to crown an interim champion so NXT can continue giving its cruiserweight something to fight for. Presumably, Devil will need to settle differences with the interim champion once things return to normal. Here's the lineup, along with descriptions of each competitor, from WWE's announcement.

The second-generation luchador will make his NXT debut in the tournament. How will this world-renowned high flyer fare on the black-and-gold brand?Akira Tozawa
A Cruiserweight Division original, Tozawa will be looking to add a second reign as champion to his name.Gentleman Jack Gallagher
Along with his new ink, Gallagher has unleashed a more ruthless side of himself in recent weeks. Will that pay off for him in this tournament?
Each of the superstars in each group will face each other in the round-robin style tournament, with the wrestlers from each group with the best record facing each other to decide the winner. The tournament begins on this Wednesday's episode of NXT on USA. That airs the same time as AEW Dynamite, so if you're anything like us, you'll have to watch it on DVR.
