New Character-Driven Trailer For HBO's True Detective
Thus far the clips and promos for HBO's new drama series True Detective have leaned heavily on the atmosphere and sense of mystery surrounding the plot, but this new one takes a decidedly different approach, delving deep into the psyches of our two leads played by Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson.
Michelle Monaghan narrates our look at the two men and police detective partners who will spend over a decade tracking a serial killer across Louisiana, all the while, as it turns out, dealing with some personal demons of their own. And just where does she herself fit in?
