EXCLUSIVE: Marvel Release Comics Line On Apple iPhone
Big news folks. Marvel have just this second made a stack of their comics available on the Apple iPhone and iTouch.
The titles include Astonishing X-Men by Joss Whedon and John Cassaday, the same book promoted as a motion comic on Union Square the other day.
Captain America by Ed Brubaker and Steve Epting, tracking the character's relaunch, death, absence and return to the living.
Marvel Zombies by Robert Kirkman and Sean Philips, with hundreds of Marvel characters zombiefied and hungry.
These books will be offered through existing popular iPhone Apps such as ComiXology's Comics App, already home to the likes of exclusive titles such as Box 13 and the upcoming X: The Unknown, as well Robert Kirkman's range from Image such as The Walking Dead, Invincible and more. Marvel books will also be available from other Apps such as Panel Fly, home to, well, Watchmensch and Civil Wardrobe amongst others. Expect more Apps compatibility and other titles, platforms and devices to follow.
Marvel have chosen to make this announcement and moe on the second anniversary of DC's Zuda Comics online line – that is only accessible by the PC.
