Guillermo del Toro's The Strain Gets An Appropriately Creepy Poster
Um, yuck. Don't scroll down if you're squeamish about eyeballs and things poking them or, like, bugs crawling out of them.
Basically any sane person should not find this new poster advertising FX's The Strain appealing in any way, but I guess it gets the job done.
The vampire series based on Guillermo del Toro and Chuck Hogan's novel series of the same name is not for the faint of heart, this poster seems to say. Stay away if you don't like creepy-crawly horror elements. But then they go and cast Corey Stoll and it's mixed messages all over the place.
I'll be checking this one out from behind my fingers when it premieres this summer on FX.
