NYCC: Robot Chicken And Their New Holiday Special

Rich Epstein writes for Bleeding Cool:

RobotChickenIt was Robot Chicken day at NYCC, with series creators Seth Green and Matt Senrich being joined by Breckin Meyer, Macauly Culkin, and Claire Grant.

The panel opened with a clip from the new season, which the audience loved.  There were some really good jokes at the expense of the four living presidents.

The panel consisted mainly of the crew joking around with each other, much to the audience's delight.  Breckin Meyer was ripping on several people in the audience, from the person who couldn't find his group, to the people leaving early, to the people asking really bad questions (really, please don't try to give the panel members demos, or ask how you can work with them etc. Nobody in the audience cares that you are trying to break into voice acting).

We also saw a clip from the next holiday special…. "The Lots of Holdiays But Don't Worry Christmas is Still in There so Get the Stick Out of Your Ass Fox News Special."  We saw some glimpses of Christmas, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Valentines Day and others.  It's going to air on December 7.

They also announced that the next DVD would be out on Novembert 8, 2014.

They were asked about who their dream guest stars would be: George Clooney, Harrison Ford, Michael Keaton and Axl Rose.

Seth Green was really gracious with the crowd, playing nicely off of Breckin Meyers' antics, and there really seemed to be a bond between the group and the audience.  On several occasions, they recognized audience members from previous years' panels.

The panel ended with a clip from a new show they are trying to launch, the "Team Unicorn Saturday Action Fun Show."  If the audience has their way, it will be picked up to series soon.
