The End Of The F***ing World, The TV Series From Channel 4, Based On Charles Forsman's Minicomic

The original doesn't have the asterisks in it.

But Charles Forsman's 2011 mini-comic, later collected by Fantagraphics was adapted in 2013 as a short film by then-film student Jonathan Entwistle for Film4.

And on the basis of that, it has been commissioned by Channel 4 in Britain to adapt it into a TV series. One that it looks like Netflix has picked up for international distribution as they did the likes of Crazyhead – indeed, it's being adapted by the same production company and Crazyhead and Misfits, Clerkenwell Films. It will be written for Charlie Covell, who wrote the movie Burn, Burn, Burn.

The comic is a dark coming of age story about two teenagers, one of whom starts to act on their violent fantasies…
