DC Comics' Batman Event "Metal" To Be Delayed

batman-psvita-lockscreenAnother titbit spilling out of ComicsPRO last weekend, from publisher/retailer conversations, is that the Batman event showrun by Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo that we have heard called "Metal", concerning the use and availability of Nth metal in the DC Universe, has been delayed a little. It was to have kicked off in August, but DC publishing schedules has seen it delayed a little.

Which might mean that DC Comics has something coming in the summer that DC doesn't want to crossover with. What will follow the Batman/Flash Watchmen button crossover? Geoff Johns' own event? Possibly with Phil Jimenez? Or is it Dark Days ahead?

Okay, that's all speculation. I'll stop going on about it now, we wouldn't want to get metal fatigue. I'm sure we'll get that flying Batman soon.
